Mary Lee is the best! While I was training for the Chicago Marathon I encountered knee pain due to my IT Band. This was a major set back for me since I workout 5 to 7 times a week. I thought I had run out of options to alleviate the pain and get back to my normal training schedule until I found Mary Lee! Mary Lee Quaid is a warm, caring professional who is very skilled in Traditional Chinese Medicine and especially at acupuncture. She listens and pays attention, taking a full history to find the root causes of one’s ailments. She has helped me with many issues including swelling in my ankles that my internist could not address in over 15 years. She has eased the chronic pain in my back to the extent that although last year I could not even attempt to dig out of snow storms, this year I have been able to do so successfully. She adjusts the protocol during each session to deal with whatever is needed at that time, from various aches and pains to depression and other mood problems. All I can say is that Mary Lee helped me through many ailments. I have arthritis almost everywhere and if it hadn’t been for her I would not be walking. I have a job lifting heavy furniture and appliances.  My neck and shoulders were very painful.  My doctor told me that surgery and drugs would be the best solution, then a friend gave me Mary Lee’s contact information.  I spoke to her, explained my situation and began treatment.  After the first visit my pain was gone.  I couldn’t believe it!  I am not sure how this works but I will continue to use it instead of surgery or pain killers.  D.B.
